Black Hawk Down Game

The rules for the Black Hawk Down game type:

Two Teams American and Somali. The American team must get to the downed helicopter, rescue the pilot and the sniper support and get EVERYONE to the extraction zone. The Somali force must stop them (Dur!). Every once and awhile the teams are picked according to American made weapons vs foreign weapons for some added reality and a change in pace.

Be sure to have Water for this one as the game involves A LOT of running around, and just about everyone is smoked at the end. (I think i'm gonna start bringing water to the field cost should be around 25 cents a bottle to cover the costs or buying it)

American Team Details:
-Medic Rules apply (45 Seconds)
-Everyone on the American force is a Medic (Yay CLS!)
-Numerically inferior force, slightly.
-Must give up 1 pilot and 2 snipers to be at the chopper at the game start
-Pilot must be armed with a sub-machine gun or pistol only.
-Snipers should have long range weapons.(all the better is one is an M14 and/or an SR-16)
-Pilot and Snipers Cannot move until the main force reaches them
-Upon arrival a member of the MAIN FORCE must medic the pilot then the Americans can begin extraction
-Victory upon extraction of all US Forces

Somali Team Details:
-Must walk back to start point when hit and wait 1-2 minutes (depending on # of people) to respawn
-numerically superior, slightly
-Must stay out of the red area between the pine tree by the ready area and the only other tree near the gravel pit. This is to avoid the Somali team camping out along the end of the extraction route since the Somali's would have no idea where the Americans were going in real life.
-Victory upon elimination of all US forces

when is this?

um it was generally at least once a weekend. but the van has since been moved so until we move it back to its original location we can't play this game type. its not like a day long scenario or anything just one of the many games we play on a saturday or sunday.
