Lowlife M4 S-System Empty Lowlife M4 S-System

So I've got my JG M4 S-System. A few things have come to my attention. First the upper receiver and delta ring are not the same as other M4s. The upper reveiver is not threaded, and the delta ring is not "sprung". The upper hand guard is screwed to four "ears" attached to the barrel. The top rail should clamp to the rail on top of an A3 style upper receiver, but there isn't one, so it just looks like it does.

So, are all S-Systems like this or just the JG? Should I make replacment parts to fit this gun, or should I start with a threade reciever and make a S-Sytem kit that'll fit other A3 guns? Does anyone have any other M4 parts they would like to donate to this cause? They don't need to be nice, just good enough to get reliable numbers off of.

Or do I just start at square one and make receivers first? This is in my plans, but I don't really want to start with the difficult parts!

More to come, got to go back to work!

Ah, it only sucks a little! We can do some things with it. Keep me posted on the other one though.

I think that making a S-System that will fit a threaded upper would be the way to go. All the ones I have seen have been as you describe. I recently worked on a KWA S-System and it to was identical to the JG style mounting. Having a front end kit that will fit the more widely used upper will get alot of attention. I am sure I can sell several here in GA and get Airsoft Atlanta to carry them.
