Echo 1 M14 upgrade parts list
Can someone tell me if this list is the correct parts i need to upgrade my m14 internally?
It already has:Full Metal Version 7 Gearbox, Metal Bushings, Metal Spring Guide
(and soon a sexy new outer barrel)
Heres what ive come up with so far:
New Spring: i was thinking m130
New Piston: apparently the echo 1 stock one suffers from leaks
New Piston Heads
New Gears: based on what little i understand i should be looking fro "high torque" gears for higher springs

Lets go with a SP-120 spring, or a 190% if you really want that extra jump, then Prommie tripple torque up gears, a Systema Magnum (Short), Guarder/King Arms Aluminum Piston head, X-Ring, Good shim job, a good and solid 8.4v Battery or perhaps a 9.6, a G&P White Polyacetal Piston, and a new cylinder set. Perhaps Prometheus or Element.

Re: Echo 1 M14 upgrade parts list
thing came with a 9.6c 1600mah battery i believe. thanks for the advice ecko
Re: Echo 1 M14 upgrade parts list
the hell is an xring? and what kind of cylinder? and is there anything slightly cheaper on par with the systema motor and Prometheus 3x torque gears? would a 210% spring be good with the part list above?

X-ring:

Interestingly, I get a similar compression that this guy is demonstrating in his video with 20-cent #14 O-rings from Home Depot (10 pcs for $2):
I don't mean to imply that those X-rings are bad or so -- NOT AT ALL -- and I wouldn't since I haven't tried them. The availability of the above O-rings is merely better in case you need some real quick.

Though it came with a 9.6v, it doesn't mean that the cells are any good. Their discharge rate and voltage is by far lower then What I use for say.

The saying you get what you pay for comes into good context here. The prometheous and Systema motor's are the best by far, however there are some that will give you the same torque, but not the same RPM's.
